Creating Web Control

When you log into your account go to moderator options, and select manage room owners. You then have the option to search or create new account. Click on create new account. Type in a username and a password, and click on create account. It is that simple. Then give the person you set the web control up for the web link that you use along with their username and password. Just make sure you never give out your own username and password or they will have the same control over everything that you do. If you ever want to change their pass code or delete their account click on search. Find their name and click on it. Then either edit or delete it.

Adding The Room Owner To The Room You Want Them To Control

Now that you set up their web control you need to add them to the room or rooms you want them to be able to control. Click on room settings. Then scroll down until you see the room you want them to control. Your rooms start with your party line number followed by a - and then the room number. For example 2188623232-1 is room 1 on the 218-862-3232 party line. Once you find the room you want them to control, click on edit. The first thing you will see is room owner. It is a drop down menu. Search through your list until you see the username of the person you want to have web control of the room and select it. Then scroll down and click on save room changes. It is that simple. They now have full web control of the room you selected for them.

Creating A Moderator Code For Phone Controls

Click on room settings. Then scroll down through your rooms. When you see the room you want to change the moderator code for, click on edit. Right underneath room owner where you add room owners to web control you will see moderator code. Type in any code you want (numbers only). We suggest 6 to be safe but you can make it anything you want. Then scroll down and click on save room changes. It is that simple. They now have full phone control of the room you selected for them. To use their moderator code they must be in their room since it will only work in their room. They then need to press Star 9 and follow the instructions to log in on the phone. Even if they do not have a computer for web control you can still give them phone controls by doing this.

Explanation Of Default Code, And Default Settings

The default code is the most important code for your party line. When your party line is set up with a default code all the rooms on your system have the same code for phone control until you change a room for someone else. Not only that but if you delete a room after someone is no longer using it. It automatically goes back to this default code. Never give out your default code to anyone. Default settings is how the party line was originally set up when you first received it. To go back to default settings on a room just delete the room. To reset the entire party line click on the delete all rooms button under room settings. When you delete a room or all rooms the rooms will recreate themselves with the default moderator code. No one will have web control to the room except you, and the room greeting will be deleted. All features for the room, and room size will go back to normal as well. It will be like a brand new room, or party line depending on what you deleted.
